1. To setup your Windows 98 Operating System to use the Yellowbananas.Com dial-up service, you will need to turn your computer on and let windows boot up. Once you see the start menu click on the start button then on the setting button and again on control panel.

2. In the control panel, you will want to double click on Internet Options.

3. The Internet Options window will appear. Make sure that yellowbananas.com is set as the homepage then click on the connections tab

4.On the connections tab there will be a white box labeled Dial-up and virtual Private Network Settings. Yellowbananas.Com should be displayed inside the box. Down below there should be three dots. You will want to have the third dot labeled (Always dial my default connection) to be dotted. If the checkbox labeled: (Perform system security check before dialing) is unchecked, you will want to check the box and then click on the settings button on the right.

5.The yellowbananas.com settings window will appear. Uncheck any checkboxes that are checked. Make sure that your username and password are typed in correctly and then click on the advanced button.

5.The Advanced Dial-Up settings window should display. You will want to connect (10) times and also wait (5) seconds between attempts. Then you will want to uncheck and checkboxes check on this window. Click on the Ok button to go back to the Yellowbananas.Com settings window. Then on that window you will want to click on the properties button, which is right above the advanced button.

5.You will see the Yellowbananas.Com phone number that you are dialing. Make sure you have the correct telephone number entered. Make sure the checkbox labled: (Use area code and Dialing
Properties) is unchecked, then click on the Server Types tab.

5.On the Server Types tab, you only want two checkboxes checked. Make sure the
checkboxes labeled: (Enable Software compression & TCP/IP) are the only ones checked. Then click on every ok button till your back to the control panel. Exit out of the control panel and you should see your desktop.
